Drake’s Rep Shuts Down Paternity Rumors Surrounding Keshia Chanté’s Baby

Drake‘s representatives are flatly denying claims that the Toronto rapper fathered a child with fellow artist and longtime friend Keshia Chanté, calling the speculation entirely false.
Singer-songwriter Chanté announced her pregnancy this week in a feature with Hello!, sharing maternity photos and revealing she’s expecting a baby boy. While she didn’t publicly name the father, she hinted on social media that he works in music, which was all the internet needed to start connecting dots.
The speculation was predictable. Chanté and Drake are both Canadian artists with a established friendship, so when her announcement surfaced without paternity details, fans and gossip outlets quickly assumed the dots aligned. They didn’t.
The Agency Group, representing Drake, provided a statement to dismiss what they called “inaccurate” rumors, making clear the rapper is not involved in the pregnancy.
Drake has one confirmed child: his son Adonis, who will turn 9 next week. The rapper shares custody with Sophie Brussaux, who recently got married this past summer. Beyond that, Drake has kept his romantic life largely private, though he was recently linked to online personality Pinkchyu.

For now, Drake appears focused on his career and personal interests rather than expanding his family. The paternity rumor can be filed away as yet another example of internet speculation running ahead of actual facts.
