Magic Johnson Enterprises has a new president.
Meet Alexia Grevious Henderson, who will now advance the company’s commitment to excellence and community impact, leading under the guidance of Earvin “Magic” Johnson himself. This move places a Black woman at the helm of a major investment firm focused on economic empowerment.
Since joining MJE in 2017, Alexia Grevious Henderson has consistently risen through leadership. In her last role as vice president of strategic partnerships and marketing, she was responsible for managing corporate partner relationships and growing the Magic Johnson brand.
Her work did not go unnoticed. “Alexia’s leadership, creativity, and strategic thinking have been instrumental in driving revenue and elevating our brand,” said Chairman Earvin Johnson. “She is one of the brightest young minds in today’s business world.”
Before her time at MJE, Henderson gained experience as a corporate communications manager for the Washington Commanders and started her career at the NCAA. Her work has earned her recognition from Sports Business Journal as one of its “30 New Voices Under 30.”
She celebrated the promotion on LinkedIn, writing, “My biggest goals in life have always been to make my family proud, be someone little me could look up to, and lift others up in the process.”
