Dwight Howard is accusing his wife, Amber Howard, also known as Amy Luciani, of lying about her fertility and damaging his reputation. The former NBA star filed court documents requesting a protective order, and things have gotten pretty messy between them.
In the legal filings obtained by TMZ, Dwight Howard alleged that Amber launched a “crusade of lies and defamation” against him. He claims her statements cost him professional opportunities and damaged his standing in the industry.
Howard also alleged that Amber spread false information about him to his relatives, friends, and the mothers of his children. According to the documents, she also made false statements about him to law enforcement.
The former Orlando Magic center says Amber has “a history of lying and manipulating” him. He specifically claimed she knew she could not have children but “denied that fact and actively lied about” it. Howard also denied public claims that he used cocaine, saying his work prospects suffered because of those false allegations.
Days later, Howard and Amber reached an agreement to stay at least 100 yards away from each other and avoid harassing each other on social media. Howard was granted sole use of his Georgia mansion and agreed to pay Amber $10,000 to help her move.
He continues to deny all allegations made against him.
