A 15-year-old student is facing serious charges after a heartbreaking incident at Oak Ridge High School. He’s accused of fatally shooting a classmate after a brief hallway bump.

A teenager in Florida has been charged with killing his 16-year-old classmate after what started as a minor incident. According to WBTV, the situation escalated because the victim allegedly didn’t apologize after bumping into the suspect. It’s a stark reminder of how quickly things can turn tragic.

The suspect has been identified as Jacori Redding, who allegedly shot and killed Pinien Dalmacy, 16, after a dispute at Oak Ridge High School in Orange County. Orange County Sheriff John Mina explained that the shooting stemmed from a minor hallway incident. Sheriff Mina expressed his dismay, saying, “I’m really angry that something as small as bumping into someone in the halls of a high school, something that we have all done, has now turned into a deadly shooting of a 16-year-old.” Redding reportedly returned to the school with a gun after the confrontation and was quickly taken into custody.
