Today at New York Comic Con, Prime Video brought the heat, dropping the Invincible Season Four teaser during a panel that drew over 4,500 fans. Steven Yeun, Gillian Jacobs, and co-creator Robert Kirkman were on stage, revealing the Burger Mart-inspired trailer that set the internet on fire. The adult-animated superhero series, co-produced by Skybound Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios, officially returns in March 2026.
And there’s more! The Invincible team announced that Lee Pace (Foundation, Bodies Bodies Bodies) is joining the voice cast as Thragg, one of the comic’s most menacing villains. In the Invincible universe, Thragg is the Grand Regent of the Viltrum Empire — a character bred for power, ruling through ruthless authority and sheer will. His arrival means Season Four will dive deeper into the cosmic and political chaos of the Invincible mythos, setting the stage for an epic showdown.
This announcement comes after a record-breaking run for the series. Invincible’s third season became Prime Video’s most-watched animated season ever, and the show has been critically acclaimed, receiving back-to-back Primetime Emmy nominations (2024 and 2025), a Critics Choice nomination for Best Animated Series, and maintaining a Certified Fresh streak on Rotten Tomatoes, with Season Three holding a flawless 100% score.
With its mix of heart, humor, and heroics, Invincible continues to redefine adult animation. If today’s NYCC reveal is anything to go by, Season Four is shaping up to be its most explosive chapter yet and fans are counting down the days until March 2026.
