Kelli Potter Blasts Porsha Over Married Pastor Claim

Kelli Potter says her friendship with Porsha Williams fell apart after the Real Housewives of Atlanta veteran accused her of sleeping with a married pastor. It’s a tough situation that’s got people talking about loyalty, trust, and what it really means to show up for your sisters.

“I think Porsha is a great woman,” Kelli said on The Reality Rundown. “I just don’t know if Porsha Williams is a girl’s girl.” Coming into the season with hopes of making peace, Kelli approached their tea room meeting ready to start fresh. But when Porsha brought up those allegations—which Kelli has firmly denied—everything shifted.

“What did you think I was gonna do?” Kelli asked. “You didn’t think I was gonna have my foot on your neck all season after that?”

She also pushed back against suggestions that her growing friendship with Shamea Morton caused the rift. “It has nothing to do with Shamea,” Kelli explained, noting that these relationships exist separately from one another. “I think it’s really just about [Porsha] showing up and being truthful. I think that’s the most important part. And I think that’s where it gets the disconnect.”

Now Kelli is bracing herself to confront Phaedra Parks, who seemed to back Porsha’s claims during filming. The whole experience has been about navigating what feels like a breakdown in the sisterhood—something that demands honesty and real accountability.

“When I accepted [legal] help from Phaedra, I did not know those things were being said about me,” Kelli said, noting that cast members don’t catch every conversation or confessional while cameras are rolling. “I definitely probably would not have hired her to represent me if I’d known those things were said about me behind my back. Absolutely.”
