Having already won rave reviews for lending his voice to animated projects like ‘The Secret Life of Pets’ and ‘Captain Underpants’ in the past, Kevin Hart‘s latest venture sees him repeat the feat but for a cartoon project a little closer to home.
March 6 brought with it the anxiously awaited release of BET+’s ‘Lil Kev,’ a new animated series created and produced by Hart that sees him also voice the titular character.
Inspired by his life and comedy, the show – set in Philadelphia in the early 90’s – follows “12-year-old Kevin Hart whose unshakable optimism, humor, and hustle constantly collide with his neighborhood’s harsh realities.”
Also starring Wanda Sykes, Ms. Pat, Deon Cole, Cree Summer, Jamar Neighbors, Gerald “Slink” Johnson, and more, look inside for your first peek at the hilarious series taking BET+ by storm.
