Tyler Perry‘s empire is continuing to expand.
Perry just inked a multi-series development deal with A+E Global Media.
With this new deal, Tyler Perry Studios and Pantheon Media Group will be creating unscripted shows across multiple genres for A+E and Lifetime.
Multiple series have been greenlit but are under wraps for now.
Elaine Frontain Bryant, VP and head of programming at A&E, Lifetime, and LMN, shared her excitement for the new deal by stating:
“Tyler Perry’s unique ability to craft stories that deeply connect with audiences is unparalleled. We are thrilled to welcome Tyler Perry to the A+E family and cannot wait to see the incredible content TPS and Pantheon will bring to A+E Global Media.”
This adds another platform to the ‘Why Did I Get Married?’ director’s roster.
Last year, he extended his deal with BET Media Group with renewals for eight of his shows. Same with his Netflix partnership, expanding into scripted television.
