Kris Jenner Says Ray J Made Kim’s Life Hell Amid Defamation Lawsuit

In her filing, Kris Jenner accuses Ray J of making “outrageous and untrue” claims that she and her daughter were under federal investigation. Jenner directly addressed comparisons made by Ray J involving Sean “Diddy” Combs. In her declaration, she wrote, “To say that my daughter and I are being pursued for doing something worse than Sean “Diddy” Combs, is a horrific lie,” Kris writes in the declaration.

The declaration outlines Jenner’s position that the statements have harmed both her personal reputation and her professional brand. She claims the allegations caused her emotional distress and could potentially impact business relationships she has built over several decades. Meanwhile, the legal dispute continues to develop. Neither Ray J nor his representatives have publicly detailed their legal defense in response to this specific filing. As of now, the case remains active in court.

Kris Jenner Details Emotional Impact in Ray J Defamation Case

In her declaration, Jenner also addressed the long history between Ray J and her daughter, Kim Kardashian. She explained that Kim was with Ray J for a short period of time. However, she claims the public commentary has continued for years.
Jenner wrote, “[o]ver the past two decades, I have had to watch [Ray J] publicly terrorize my daughter by continually talking, and lying, about her in the press to try and keep himself relevant.” She further stated that each time Ray J makes public comments about the family, it creates renewed media attention.
She described that attention as a “wave of attention” and added that it is “extremely difficult to watch my daughter endure this cycle of scrutiny brought on by [Ray J].” According to Jenner, Ray J’s recent statements “go too far” and caused her “significant emotional distress.”

Jenner also wrote, “My family is of the utmost importance to me. It is deeply painful to watch my daughter experience the stress brought upon her by [Ray J], and her feelings of hopelessness and his harassment will never end.”

Additionally, Jenner claims she is “deeply angered, insulted and shaken by the accusations.” She states that she fears the remarks could damage her business ventures. In the filing, she notes that she has spent decades building her brand and reputation.

Importantly, Jenner said this is the first time she has filed a defamation lawsuit. She explained that she felt compelled to take legal action because the statements were “inexcusable and deeply painful.” She added, “I took this step because I could no longer bear [Ray J’s] campaign of harassment against my daughter and my family or to watch my daughter cry again over the lies he’s painted about us.”

As previously reported, Kim Kardashian also filed her own declaration. According to reports from TMZ, Kim expressed concern that the allegations could interfere with her goal of becoming a lawyer.
