Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards is ready to turn the page. She’s open to making peace with Dorit Kemsley if the show returns for another season. After years of hurt feelings and public blowups, Kyle wants a real reset between the longtime friends.
“If I’m coming back, let’s just say that part first. You know that I would repair things with Dorit,” Kyle, 57, told Us Weekly. She’s been reflecting on what matters most. “I would like to be able to put that behind us and start over,” she said, noting there are still some things she wants to address from the previous season. The two haven’t been in regular contact lately, though Kyle made an effort to reach out when Dorit, 50, released her memoir, Unburdened, in June. It was a thoughtful gesture—the kind of move that shows there’s still care underneath the tension.
“Other than that, no, I haven’t heard from her or anything,” Kyle continued. Sometimes distance speaks volumes, but Kyle insists her feelings haven’t changed entirely.
Despite their estrangement, Kyle said she still cares deeply about Dorit and her family, especially as Dorit navigates her divorce from PK Kemsley. Life throws curveballs, and these moments require real support systems.
“It’s sad to me because, you know, I did care about her, and I do care about her and her family,” Kyle said with genuine emotion. “I just feel like we’re both going through so much and that we would have been much better off leaning on each other.”
