Okay, so Monroe Cannon, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s 14-year-old, just dropped some truth bombs on Instagram, and we’re here for it! 😅📱 This young lady is NOT playing games when it comes to setting the record straight about her family.
In a super classy IG Story, Monroe let everyone know that folks have been getting her family tree all kinds of twisted. And honey, she came with the receipts!
She said, and we quote: “clearing something up guys!”
She continued: “i only have ONE brother who is @moroccan.cannon”
Then she finished: “i do have other half siblings from my dad but they are all many many years younger than me!”
And sis is speaking FACTS. While Monroe and her twin, Moroccan, are ride-or-die siblings with the same amazing parents, she also has a whole squad of 10 half-siblings thanks to Nick Cannon’s… well, let’s just say “active” parenting journey. Shoutout to Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, Bre Tiesi, LaNisha Cole, and Alyssa Scott – the mothers holding it DOWN.
It seems like the internet was out here confusing the whole Cannon crew, so Monroe stepped in to clear things up. She’s letting everyone know that, despite her dad’s ever-growing family tree, she’s got one full sibling – her twin – and the rest are half-siblings she isn’t close in age to.
Social media BLEW UP! Everyone is praising Monroe for being real, not letting anything faze her, and handling it all with a maturity that’s way beyond her age.
As Nick continues to build what some might call a “Brady Bunch on steroids,” Monroe’s statement reminds us of something important.
