Megan Thee Stallion’s Legal Opponent Claims Financial Inability to Pay $75K Debt

Milagro “Gramz” Cooper is asking a federal judge to delay payment on a court judgment from Megan Thee Stallion, arguing that forcing immediate payment would create serious financial hardship. She’s fighting to pause the obligation while she appeals the case to a higher court.

According to court documents obtained by BlkCosmo, Milagro wants to delay payment while pursuing her appeal. She contends there are unresolved issues in the case that warrant further review by an appellate court.

The core of her argument, though, comes down to money.

Milagro describes herself to the court as a self-employed media commentator and content creator with unpredictable monthly income. She claims she lacks substantial liquid assets and doesn’t have the financial resources to pay the judgment immediately or post a full bond.

She supports her household and two minor children, and says immediate payment would strain her finances significantly. She’s asking the judge to hold off on payment requirements until the appeal is settled.

A federal jury largely ruled in Megan Thee Stallion‘s favor in her lawsuit against Milagro over social media posts concerning Tory Lanez and the aftermath of his shooting case. The dispute has dragged on through post-trial motions and appeals.

The jury awarded Megan $75,000 in damages, but that figure may not be the end of it. Under Florida law, Milagro could also be ordered to cover Megan’s attorney fees, which could push the total substantially higher.

Megan’s legal team has already filed in opposition to the request.
