Nicki Minaj has been explicit about her view of Dr. Fauci’s future, posting that he’ll eventually be eating from feeding tubes and lose the ability to speak.
On Friday, the rapper shared a lengthy message on X laying out her bleak assessment of Fauci while holding him responsible for the suffering she believes rippled through families during the pandemic. Earlier in the week, Fauci testified before the Senate about pandemic-related matters, but declined to answer questions by invoking his Fifth Amendment rights.
Nicki Minaj specifically named Fauci as responsible for what she sees as trauma inflicted on newborns, young children, pregnant women, elderly people, and others who endured the global health crisis.
She went further, arguing that “innocent people” no longer trust government institutions as a result, and that billions in taxpayer dollars were siphoned away by fraudsters during the crisis response.
Nicki acknowledged struggling to find any levity in the situation, though she did offer a message of respect for those who “made it to the other side.”
Her post included an AI-generated image depicting Fauci as a teenager lying in bed writing in a diary. The image drew from recently released diary entries from Fauci that were published by Congress and became fodder for conservative critics.
Minaj has become an outspoken supporter of President Trump, who has been consistently critical of Fauci over their disputes regarding pandemic management during Trump’s first administration.
