Nicki Minaj is moving to dismiss a $275K lawsuit filed against her by production company 24/7 Productions, arguing she shouldn’t be personally liable for her company’s debts. In court documents obtained by BlkCosmo, the rapper contends that any contract in dispute is between the production company and her business entity, Pink Friday Productions LLC, not her individually.
Her legal team is leaning on a straightforward corporate law principle: individual members of a company aren’t responsible for the company’s debts. Nicki Minaj is also asking the court to order 24/7 Productions to cover her attorney’s fees for defending against the suit.
The dispute stems from the 2023 Jingle Ball and the “Pink Friday 2” album launch. According to the production company’s claims, it fronted roughly $255,000 in expenses and services. The total they’re seeking, including related costs, comes to around $275,000.

24/7 Productions named Nicki as a defendant alongside her company, claiming she personally benefited from the unpaid work. Her response challenges that framing, asserting that any benefit she received came through Pink Friday Productions, not from a direct arrangement with the production company.
This isn’t Nicki’s only legal headache at the moment. A law firm, Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP, filed suit against her this week for allegedly unpaid legal bills from 2023. They’re seeking $229,540 for services rendered.
