Domestic violence charges have landed on Zaire Wade, the 24-year-old son of NBA Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade. The felony complaint was filed Thursday in Los Angeles following his arrest last month.
According to law enforcement, the incident stemmed from a June 21 altercation with someone Zaire Wade had a “dating relationship” with. Burbank police responded to a home around 5:30 a.m. after a 911 caller reported hearing a woman “screaming.”

After speaking with those involved, police arrested Wade on suspicion of felony domestic violence, criminal threats, and false imprisonment. Officers also recovered a handgun from the residence and issued an emergency protective order.
