Nicki Minaj and a former fan who sued the rapper for calling him a “stalker” have reached a settlement in his $10 million defamation case.
According to court documents obtained by BlkCosmo, Tameer Peak has agreed to drop his defamation and emotional distress lawsuit, where he claimed Nicki Minaj falsely smeared him online.

The dispute centered on comments Nicki made online, describing Tameer as “one sandwich short of a picnic.” He argued the remarks were defamatory and caused him emotional distress.
The case had stalled over the past year after Nicki’s original legal representation dropped out, leaving her without counsel. Finding new representation proved difficult, creating delays in the proceedings.
In recent court filings, Nicki argued the case should be dismissed on two grounds: that it exceeded the statute of limitations for defamation and that Peak couldn’t establish the statements were specifically directed at him.
In a letter to the court, Peak said he would not oppose Nicki’s dismissal motion. He explained his “primary purpose” in bringing the lawsuit was to formally challenge what he viewed as improper conduct and to have his grievances acknowledged through the legal system.
Peak noted that he felt he had achieved his objective and saw no benefit in continuing to pursue the litigation further.
