Nippa‘s new EP ‘Homegrown’ is here, and it’s a solid nine-track project that clocks in at just over 21 minutes with zero skippable moments. This is the kind of focused, intentional work that shows an artist knows exactly what they’re trying to say and how to say it. Nippa brought in some serious collaborators for this one—Blxst handles the title track, Jordan Ward shows up on ‘Kacey,’ and Kaytranada laced ‘Bittersweet’ with that signature production magic that makes everything it touches feel elevated.
The concept behind ‘Homegrown’ is deeply rooted in carrying your origins with you no matter where life takes you, and Tottenham threads through the entire project like a heartbeat. It’s that specificity—that commitment to place and community—that makes this EP feel authentic rather than just another collection of songs. Nippa’s talking about something real here, something that resonates for anyone who’s ever had to navigate the world while keeping their roots intact. If you haven’t checked it out yet, now’s definitely the time to tap in and see what the conversation’s about.
