Offset clapped back at Rylo Rodriguez after the Alabama rapper appeared to mention his rumored gambling troubles on a new song. If you’ve been following hip hop biography moments lately, you know drama in the rap world moves fast.

Rylo’s album S.K.A.T.E., released July 3, includes the track “Eliza (Bless Me Up),” where he raps, “Freebandz, I’m locked in with Casino, but I’m not Offset.” The line plays on rapper Casino, who is affiliated with Future’s Freebandz label. hip hop biography fans immediately caught the subliminal jab.

Offset quickly hopped on Instagram Stories to respond. “Talk gon make me kill no one y’all playing,” he wrote while tagging Rylo. He also mocked Rylo’s expected sales and declared, “You n—as can’t come to ATL nomo.” The tension was real, and the rapper wasn’t holding back.

Rylo later sent a voice message saying the line was not intended as a diss, but Offset was unforgiving and continued to drag him. Sometimes a statement piece of a response just doesn’t land the way you hoped.

Rylo returned fire the following day. “Even if I was to [sell] 10K that be cool it still be 2k more than your last tape,” he wrote. The shots kept coming from both sides.

MotorCity Casino Hotel has sued Offset over an allegedly unpaid $100,000 gambling credit line from 2024. The legal troubles have been piling up for the Atlanta native. His representative said at the time, “We are working toward a resolution.” Offset is also fighting a lawsuit from a Los Angeles dispensary security guard who accused him of assault. The rapper has denied the allegations.

Offset also remains estranged from Cardi B, who filed for divorce in July 2024 after nearly seven years of marriage. The former couple has three children, and their divorce proceedings continue. Between the legal battles and personal struggles, it’s been a rough season for the Migos member.
