PlaqueBoyMax Responds to Fan Reactions – New Song

Artist mental health matters, and PlaqueBoyMax just reminded us why. The streamer and rapper deleted his X community forum after feeling unsupported following the release of his new track “Thong Song.”

During an emotional Twitch livestream on Friday, Max opened up about the toll that toxic online spaces can take. He explained that he’d actually deleted X from his phone entirely, but downloaded it again specifically to promote his new song. “I was out shopping,” he shared with his followers. “As y’all know, ‘Thong Song’ just dropped and, you feel me, I’m not going to lie, that song is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever made. It’s fun as f–k. It makes me feel good. I put a lot of time into it.”

But when he checked his community forum, the energy shifted. “I’m excited, I’m feeling good,” he said. “I hit the community, and it’s like … damn, bro. Y’all n—as not f–king with me, no cap. The community became a thing where n—as is so toxic and small-minded, they won’t let me be myself. Y’all can call me corny, I don’t give a f–k.”

It’s a real moment that speaks to something bigger: how artist mental health gets overlooked in digital spaces. CreatorPreneurs and independent press outlets often highlight these struggles, but sometimes the support just isn’t there when you need it most. Max’s willingness to be vulnerable about his experience—and his decision to set boundaries—is honestly refreshing.

Despite the community friction, PlaqueBoyMax has built an impressive presence across multiple platforms. He boasts about 1.76 million YouTube subscribers on his main channel, plus roughly 1.79 million on PlaqueBoyMaxLive. His Twitch audience is solid too, with approximately 12,944 active subscribers (including 10,597 paid and 1,364 gifted).

The lesson here? Sometimes you gotta protect your peace. Deleting spaces that drain you isn’t giving up—it’s self-care. And that’s something we should all get behind.
