Quavo Under Fire: $3 Million Tax Debt From IRS Revealed

Quavo is catching some heat from the feds. Turns out, the Migos rapper apparently owes the IRS a pretty hefty chunk of change — we’re talking millions in unpaid taxes.

According to documents filed earlier this year, the Internal Revenue Service slapped a federal tax lien against the Migos star, whose legal name is Quavois Marshall. The filing claims Quavo failed to pay taxes across three separate years — 2021, 2022, and 2023.

The IRS alleges he owes $915,660 for 2021, $887,486 for 2022, and $1,109,497.79 for 2023. That adds up to a grand total of $2,912,644.33 that the government says he hasn’t paid.

For those not familiar, a federal tax lien basically means the government is saying you owe them money and they’ve got a legal claim on your property or assets until you sort it out. These things typically show up after someone’s ignored multiple notices about paying up.

Quavo hasn’t said anything publicly about this whole situation.

This isn’t the first time a Migos member has dealt with tax drama. Back in December 2025, Offset actually resolved his own seven-figure tax debt after paying what he owed. The IRS released his lien, which was tied to $1,575,266.73 in unpaid 2022 taxes.

Quavo rose to fame as one-third of the Atlanta rap group Migos and has kept things moving as a solo artist since then.
