Ray J Slams Jay-Z & Beyoncé For Brandy “Boy Is Mine” Snub

The internet is buzzing after Ray J hopped on live to speak on what he says went down during the reunion tour for Brandy and Monica.

According to Ray J, Jay-Z and Beyoncé attended several shows and showed love backstage—but he alleges they never took a moment to greet or take pictures with Brandy.

Ray J started by making it clear there’s no hate and that he and his sister are “big fans” of Hov and Bey. But he says the energy just felt off.

“To come to all the Brandy and Monica shows and show love, and take pics with everybody except Bran. I don’t like it.”

While he didn’t call it disrespect, he pointed out how strange it is for the Carters to be backstage multiple times and not personally acknowledge the woman whose vocals shaped an entire era of R&B.

He continued to uplift his sister, calling her “a living legend” and stressing that he has nothing but admiration for Jay-Z and Beyoncé. He just wants people to acknowledge his sister the same way they do other icons.

One thing about Ray J—he’s always going to defend Brandy, and he doesn’t care who’s in the room.
