Real Housewives of Potomac is serving up some serious tea, and Stacey Rusch isn’t holding back. She’s been real about what she sees in Gizelle Bryant’s approach to the show, and honestly, it’s the kind of honesty we appreciate.

While speaking with Vulture, Stacey broke it down about Real Housewives of Potomac dynamics. “Gizelle Bryant is exactly who she is on-camera,” Stacey said. “You get what you get, 24/7, lights on or lights off, cameras up or cameras down.” She kept it real: “Gizelle is just going to be Gizelle.”

When asked who she sees as the show’s villain, Stacey didn’t hesitate. “Every show needs a villain,” she explained. “And some people are just organically made to fill that role. And we all know who we’re talking about: Gizelle.” It’s that kind of stated clarity that makes reality TV conversations so compelling.

Gizelle is known for giving newcomers a hard time, and Stacey didn’t shy away from expressing her frustrations. During her debut season, she spent much of her time “fighting for my life” dealing with drama that kept the cast from really getting to know her “quirky and joyous” personality. That’s the kind of personal struggle many can relate to—when you’re caught up in unnecessary conflict and can’t show your true self.

The tension between these two has been real. Back in January, Stacey responded after Gizelle questioned her reconciliation with her husband, Thiemo Rusch. “I am in a relationship where I feel safe, supported, and deeply loved,” Stacey said at the time. “And I don’t think Gizelle recognizes that.” It’s a statement that speaks to deeper values about respect and boundaries.

Stacey also called out Gizelle’s bestie, Ashley Darby, describing her as “wishy-washy” and “messy.” These are the kinds of character assessments that keep viewers talking and analyzing every interaction on the show.
