Lizzo and SZA? More than just collaborators, these two are ride-or-die besties! The “Special” hitmakers are truly special friends. And if anyone out there thinks they can come between them, think again.

Solana Rowe (aka SZA) recently made it crystal clear that her loyalty lies with Lizzo. Period.

In the latest edition of ‘New York‘ magazine, featuring Lizzo on the cover, SZA didn’t hold back, throwing her full support behind her friend. She knows Lizzo is facing some serious criticism regarding those fat-shaming, workplace discrimination, and sexual harassment lawsuits.

“It was so weird to watch everybody attack her because it actually had nothing to do with what was going on,” SZA told ‘New York’ magazine. “I think what’s special about my friend is she is a master healer. She is always going to get to the bottom of herself. Nobody cleared her name for her. Nobody could give her that vindication; she gave it to herself. I just felt like she 100 percent genie’d herself through that.”

SZA’s shout-out came just days before Lizzo’s appearance on the ‘Million Dollaz Worth of Game‘ podcast.

There, Lizzo chatted with hosts Gillie and Wallo about her latest mixtape ‘My Face STILL Hurts from Smiling,’ touring plans, the history of music sampling, and so much more! It was during this conversation that SZA unexpectedly jumped in to sing her friend’s praises. Talk about squad goals!

“Fck anybody that doesn’t fck with Lizzo; she’s the best and most smartest and smarter than most of you n*ggas,” SZA said, only half-jokingly. We love to see women supporting women!
