Marvel Criticized for Lack of Black Superhero Films
Marvel's Black fanbase is calling out the cinematic universe for its alleged maltreatment of Black-led projects. Wonder Man was recently canceled despite lead actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II receiving an Emmy nomination and a second season being in development. The Blade remake starring Mahershala Ali was also scrapped after years of delays.
