After the meal, Wells hugged his parents, exchanged I love yous and left. Three days later, his body was found off Mississippi's Horn Island, plunging the family into grief and leaving them searching for answers.

Nipsey Hussle's children, 17-year-old Emani and 9-year-old Kross, have been paid out in cash and other assets from his estate, which was worth an estimated 11 million dollars. The estate is run by Nipsey's brother Blacc Sam. Lauren London, Nipsey's girlfriend at the time of his death, signed a document acknowledging receipt of money for Kross' share. Both children received 50 percent each.

Aldon Smith, the former 49ers defensive end who once looked like one of the NFL's brightest young stars, has died at 36. The San Francisco 49ers announced his death on Saturday after he suffered a medical emergency in Los Gatos.

Carol Maraj agreed to a 400K settlement after her husband Robert was fatally struck in 2021. The driver Charles Polevich paid 300K and an insurance company contributed 100K. After legal fees of 133K and reimbursements of 9800, the estate received 234K remaining. Carol had sued for loss of companionship following the incident in New York. Charles was sentenced to a year in jail for Robert's death in his criminal case before the civil lawsuit settled.

Takeoff's parents are fighting over how to divide settlement money from a wrongful death suit. His mom claims she raised him as a single parent and provided financial support throughout his life, while his dad argues he's entitled to half the settlement despite being mostly absent. The judge has yet to rule on the dispute over venue between Texas and Georgia courts.
