Our students are not running from. Our students are running toward. They are running toward Historically Black Colleges and Universities to belong before defending their belonging in the larger world becomes a daily test. That is the story of HBCU enrollment surging, and it's a story that deserves to be told without a foil. They are not settling for us; they are selecting us.

Critics across Instagram and TikTok dubbed him "Cinderfella," while supporters argued he was ahead of the curve. The "Into You" rapper addressed the noise directly on his podcast, stating he really does not care what people think and wears whatever he wants to wear.

In just a few weeks, students all over the country will be walking down the various halls of their college campuses to usher in another start of school season. But when it comes to HBCU students in particular, you already know they're going to strut to their campuses in tiptop fashion! This summer, the internet has been flooded with fashion trends from Gen Z. Whether you like classic polo shirts, enormous handbags, or are looking to refresh your shoe rotation, Gen Z is serving up a fun and funky range of aesthetics. Oversized handbags, Havaianas flip flops, capri pants, kitten heels, polo shirts, bandage dresses, button-up shirts, Vibram Five Finger shoes, midi skirts, loafers, wedge heels, and backless dresses are all having major moments. A big theme this summer is bright colors and wild patterns, with Gen Z making sure their outfits are seen when they step outside.
