T.I. Responds to Virginity Comments Controversy
T.I. is reflecting on one of his biggest scandals from 2019 when he discussed taking his then 18-year-old daughter Deyjah to a gynecologist to verify her virginity. Though he claimed it was a joke, many found the comments misogynistic. The rapper tells People the situation sucked, especially since the podcast episode aired while they were filming their reality show, forcing the family to relive the drama. Despite this, T.I. says he doesn't regret doing the show, comparing it to a scrapbook of his children's youth and emphasizing the importance of raising kids with principles and faith.
