Hailing from the Lone Star State, Taylor’s got that Texas charm and a whole lot of brains. Raised by an engineer and an educator in Houston, she was always immersed in the arts. Education is everything, y’all, and Taylor reps her HBCU pride as an alumna of Clark Atlanta University, where she honed her skills in Mass Media Arts with a focus on Film. And she’s a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.! Skee-phi!
Now, let’s talk about Beauty In Black. Taylor absolutely slays as Kimmie, the series lead. Her character’s journey is nothing short of incredible: from overcoming the horrors of human trafficking to becoming the BOSS of the Beauty in Black empire. Talk about resilience and Black girl magic!
