So, the tea is spilling from the Jeffrey Epstein case, and folks are named, including Donald Trump. Emails referencing Trump have surfaced, and he’s responding.
Trump took to Truth Social, calling it the “Jeffrey Epstein Hoax,” claiming Democrats are trying to deflect from their own issues.
He urged Republicans not to fall into the “trap” and focus on “opening up our Country, and fixing the massive damage caused by the Democrats!”
These details emerged from newly released emails by the House Oversight Committee. The late Jeffrey Epstein apparently had thoughts about his connection with President Donald Trump, documented in emails before Trump’s presidency and leading up to the 2020 election.
These emails are part of a massive document dump, including exchanges between Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, currently serving time for her role in Epstein’s sex trafficking operations.
In a 2011 email about Trump, Epstein noted Trump’s silence regarding a particular victim who “spent hours at my house with him.”
Maxwell responded, “I have been thinking about that … .”
In another email to author Michael Wolff in 2019, Epstein mentioned Mar-a-Lago, stating Trump claimed he asked Epstein to resign from the club and knew about the girls, asking Ghislaine to stop.
Back in 2015, Wolff reportedly told Epstein that CNN might question Trump about their relationship. Epstein inquired how to craft an answer, and Wolff suggested using Trump’s potential denial to gain “valuable PR and political currency.” However, Trump wasn’t asked about Epstein during that debate.
