Things got real for Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill during Monday night’s face-off against the New York Jets. The crowd at Hard Rock Stadium held its breath when Hill suffered a scary injury. Early in the third quarter, Hill snagged a 10-yard pass from Tua Tagovailoa near the sideline, but Jets safety Malachi Moore brought him down hard. His left leg bent in a way that nobody wanted to see.
Medical staff sprang into action, working to stabilize Hill’s knee while trainers carefully removed his cleats. It was a tense moment, and emotions ran high as Hill’s mother came down to the field to be by his side, offering support and love.
Word from ESPN is that Hill sustained a dislocated knee. He was carted off the field, but not before giving a wave and a smile to the Miami crowd – a true show of strength. Hill came into the game hot off two straight 1,700+ yard seasons with Miami, even if his 2024 campaign was a little quieter, not quite hitting that 1,000-yard mark. He’s a force of nature on the field.
