The internet had thoughts when Young Thug’s jail call with Mariah The Scientist leaked, and he was overheard calling GloRilla “ugly.” Ouch! We all have our moments, but those words hit the digital streets HARD.
But hold up, Glo wasn’t about to let that slide. She clapped back on X (formerly Twitter) with a response that had the timeline buzzing!
“Mind you dis da same n*a blowing my phone up to ask what color my eyes is lmaooo.” Shots fired! It’s giving, “You used to be my biggest fan…” vibes.
The viral response swung the spotlight right back around, and suddenly, Thug found himself in the hot seat. Transparency is key, right?
Not long after, the YSL rapper hopped on his own X account to issue a public apology. In a surprisingly humble message, he wrote:
“@GloTheofficial first of all I’m sorry to u for my words and I honestly don’t think ur ugly at all, I was speaking from jail just having a hard time with life.. I don’t like bashing girls and hardly ever did.. I’m sorry to u twin.” Keep it real, Young Thug. We all go through it, but owning up to mistakes is what makes us better.
