Black Cosmopolitans, it’s been a huge year for Zendaya! The multi-hyphenate star has been absolutely crushing it, with several major projects under her belt in 2026 including the hit drama series ‘The Drama,’ the return of ‘Euphoria,’ and the highly anticipated ‘Spider-Man 4.’ However, Zendaya is now revealing that she’s ready to take a step back from the spotlight and ‘go into hiding’ for a little while.

Zendaya opened up about her plans to take a break in a recent interview, saying, ‘I hope people don’t get sick of me. I feel like I’ve been absolutely everywhere this year.’ The 30-year-old has been seemingly everywhere, from magazine covers to award show appearances to major film and TV premieres. With so much success and attention, Zendaya is understandably ready for some much-needed rest and relaxation.

Speaking on her busy 2026, Zendaya shared, ‘It’s been an incredible year, but also very intense. I’ve been working non-stop on ‘The Drama,’ ‘Euphoria,’ and ‘Spider-Man 4′ – on top of all the press, photoshoots, and events. I’m just ready to take a step back for a little while and go into hiding. I need some time to myself to recharge and reset.’

Fans of the rising superstar need not worry, though – Zendaya assured that this break will be temporary. ‘I’ll be back, I promise!’ she said with a laugh. ‘I just need some time to decompress and get my mind right. This past year has been a whirlwind, and I’m grateful for all the amazing opportunities, but I also know how important it is to take care of myself.’

We completely understand, Zendaya! Black Cosmopolitans, it’s so important for our favorite celebrities to prioritize their mental health and well-being, especially after periods of intense work and success. We’re wishing Zendaya all the rest and relaxation she needs, and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next!
