Fresh out of prison, Max B is already back in the mix, and you know 50 Cent can’t resist a little drama. The Harlem legend touched base with DJ Whoo Kid on FaceTime after serving over a decade, sending a shoutout to 50 Cent, saying, “Tell the big homie Boo Boo I said what up.”
Whoo Kid responded, “He just dropped a new joint, so let’s work. He’s back in the studio.” Max was quick to reply, “Say no more. Let’s get it, I’m ready.”
Of course, that was all the fuel 50 Cent needed to fire up the troll machine. The G-Unit mogul reposted the clip on Instagram, adding his signature pettiness, reigniting his ongoing feud with Jim Jones.
50 dropped a meme from the classic film Belly, showing Rico plotting to snitch, with the caption: “Jim Jones:”
Then 50 added his own words underneath: “[Na] said Max home it’s packed in Harbor, jimmy about to drop a dime on these [nas] LOL.”
The internet went wild, stirring up the tension between Harlem’s Dipset and G-Unit. If you’re just tuning in, Max B and Jim Jones have been beefing for years, stemming from their ByrdGang days. Business disputes and clashing egos turned former friends into rivals. Max’s release and shoutout to 50 (who’s got his own history with Jones) had folks buzzing about a possible collaboration… and another round of trolling from Fif.
Max seems focused on his music and rebuilding his brand. But you can bet 50 Cent will always be around to keep things interesting.
