Diddy’s Prison Release Date Moved Up Again

The music producer and rapper will see the outside of his jail cell even quicker than anticipated, with his new release date set for January 24, 2028 according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website. This marks a month earlier than his previously expected release date of February 23, 2028, which had been moved up from April 2028.

Sean Diddy Combs is in solitary confinement at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey following a violent prison brawl. According to the facility's inmate handbook, he faces restricted privileges and potential loss of personal property. While in the Special Housing Unit, he receives blankets, mattress, pillow, toilet paper, and shaving equipment. He can access reading and religious materials and receives daily doctor visits. Diddy is allowed one social visit weekly and will receive briefings on his housing status and disciplinary rights.

Diddy's recent prison fight could end up undoing some of the good behavior credit he's already racked up. A judge will eventually look at his prison record and decide if he deserves credit for good behavior, and this violent fight could be a serious strike against him. Diddy is currently scheduled to get out of prison in February 2028, but that date assumes he earns credits for good behavior.

Diddy Involved in Prison Fight, Placed in Solitary

Diddy got into a fight with a fellow inmate at his federal lockup in New Jersey and ended up in solitary confinement. Sean Combs went toe to toe with another inmate this week inside FCI Fort Dix after things got heated. The two inmates got into a scuffle, pushing each other and throwing jabs. Prison staff quickly separated both men. Diddy was immediately tossed into the hole at Fort Dix.
