Andy Cohen On Missing Amanda, West Video

Summer House reunion drama just got messier. Andy Cohen is spilling tea about what actually went down behind the scenes—and let’s just say, there’s a lot more to the story than what made it to your screen.

On SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Cohen addressed fan confusion over why the alleged video of Amanda Batula at West Wilson’s apartment, which reportedly pushed Amanda and West to confirm their controversial romance, was not included in the three-part reunion. Turns out, it was way more complicated than simple editing. Summer House reunion producers had their hands full.

“It was brought up several times,” Cohen said. “We had two supersized episodes and one normal episode, and still we shot from about 10:30 in the morning until nine at night. So this stuff was all brought up.”

Cohen admitted he also would have liked more reunion time. The sheer volume of conversations they captured speaks volumes about how much drama actually went down—way more than what viewers got to see.

“I was surprised part three wasn’t supersized. If I had been producing it, I would’ve added it supersized,” he said. “You’re bringing up stuff that is interesting and that I would’ve wanted to hear about too. Yes, we talked about it.”

What’s even more shocking is that Cohen also said former Summer House star Paige DeSorbo, who is close with both Amanda and Ciara Miller, was mentioned “several times,” though he “can’t remember” exactly what was said. This was also cut. The omission raised eyebrows among fans who were already suspicious about what ended up on the cutting room floor.

Cohen also addressed West’s recent podcast remarks, in which he hoped the Knicks would lose, forcing the subsequent game to air at the same time as Summer House: The Aftermath, to take the heat off him. Unfortunately for West, that plan backfired completely.

Despite being nearly silent during the reunion, West has not stopped talking about the scandal on his podcast. His commentary feels like he’s trying to get ahead of a narrative that’s already spinning out of control.
