    The Billboard Women in Music is back and its 2025 edition will honor high-achieving women such as Glorilla, Tyla, Muni Long, and Erykah Badu. 

    The ladies are joined on the tally by aespa, Angela Aguilar, Gracie Abrams, JENNIE, Megan Moroney, and Meghan Trainor.

    Billboard’s Editor-in-Chief Hannah Karp spoke on 10 women being honored:

    “These honorees are redefining what it means to be a trailblazer.”

    Taking place on March 29 at the Youtube Theater in Inglewood, California, the event will be hosted by  Laverne Cox.

    The night promises powerful tributes and unforgettable performances, with presenters and the Woman of the Year still to be announced.

    A neo-soul icon, Erykah Badu has been a trailblazer for nearly three decades.  Known for genre-defining albums like  ‘Baduizm’  and  ‘Mama’s  Gun’  her influence spans generations.


    One of country music’s biggest breakout stars Megan Moroney with hits like ‘Tennessee’ and ‘Orange.’ she’s bringing a fresh perspective to country.


    K-Pop royalty JENNIE continues to make waves, both as a member of BLACKPINK and as a solo artist. From dominating global charts to starring in HBO’s ‘The Idol’ JENNIE’s impact extends beyond music.

    Meghan trainor
    A hitmaker in every sense of the word, Meghan Trainor has been serving bops on bops since ‘All About That Bass’. With multiple GRAMMY’s she continues to redefine pop music.

    Gracie abrams
    Singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams has carved out her own land in the indie-pop scene. Her tour with Taylor Swift introduced her to a wider audience, proving that her star power is only growing.

    One of the biggest acts in K-pop’s fourth generation, aespa is redefining the girl group formula. The quartet- Karin, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning has racked up millions of streams and sold-out tours.
