CultureCon was the place to be this past weekend if you were in the mood to celebrate Black culture and level up. The annual Brooklyn festival dedicated to creativity, community, and entrepreneurship drew a roster of major names—Michael B. Jordan, Aaron Pierre, Mahershala Ali, John Legend, and plenty more—all there to discuss everything from career evolution and personal growth to upcoming projects. With this year’s “Museum of Us” theme putting Black creativity front and center, the festival delivered panels, conversations, and appearances that felt timely and substantive.
We caught up with some of the biggest names who showed up. Here’s who made the scene and what they had to share:
Michael B. Jordan & Gina Prince-Bythewood
In conversation with acclaimed director Gina Prince-Bythewood, CultureCon featured Michael B. Jordan discussing his upcoming films “The Thomas Crown Affair” and “Miami Vice,” while also reflecting on his career trajectory and how he navigated his way to the top.
