At just 14, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s eldest daughter has already built a résumé that reads like someone twice her age. Whether she’s commanding a stadium stage, showing off her artistic talents or effortlessly becoming a fashion trendsetter, Blue Ivy Carter continues to prove she’s much more than the child of two music icons.
Piano Prodigy
Most recently, fans were reminded that music isn’t just in Blue’s DNA–it’s in her fingertips. During Night 1 of Jay-Z’s Yankee Stadium residency, Blue was spotted confidently playing the piano alongside her father. For most teenagers, learning to play the piano is an extracurricular activity. For Blue, it was another reminder that she’s being raised in one of music’s most accomplished families while carving out her own lane.
Jay previously teased Blue’s piano abilities during an interview with GQ, highlighting her self-taught talent. “Blue is a crazy pianist, but she won’t let us get her a teacher,” the proud father said. “She doesn’t want it to be a job. But she has perfect pitch.”

She even dubbed Blue as her personal “beauty guru and my manager” during an April 2025 Instagram video.
