During a recent episode of Brandi Unfiltered, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum opened up about some unexpected health concerns she’s been experiencing. The conversation got real when Brandi questioned whether a fungal infection could explain her symptoms.
“I have a quick question. Have you heard about sexually transmitted ringworm?” Brandi asked. “I feel like I might have it.” Her openness about exploring different possibilities shows the importance of discussing health concerns without shame, especially when navigating complex medical situations.
When Lisa Ann asked where Brandi thought the infection might be, the Bravo star replied, “in my throat,” noting that she became concerned after she dated someone who “did a lot of wrestling.” She claimed the man avoided intercourse because he was worried she could get pregnant, which she found unnecessary.
“He would only, you know, my face because he didn’t want to get me pregnant,” she explained. “He didn’t know that ship had sailed. I’m like, ‘OK, whatever, I’m not going to correct you.'”

According to Brandi, she had already received negative results for several common sexually transmitted infections in her throat before considering ringworm as a possibility.
“I really just heard about ringworm yesterday,” she said. “You see them when it’s on the outside of your skin but they can burrow.”
Brandi is recovering from a years-long health battle with a possible “facial parasite.” She later said the issue may have been connected to ruptured breast implants, claiming she had “silicone all over my lymph nodes,” which she believed contributed to the infection in her face. The RHOBH alum has since had her implants removed and undergone noninvasive treatments to repair damage to her face, while encouraging others with implants to get them checked regularly. Her journey reflects the importance of listening to your body and seeking proper medical evaluation when something doesn’t feel right.
