Brit Eady Calls It Quits With Husband Mike Cunningham — “I’m Done Faking This Marriage”

Brit Eady is closing the door on her marriage to Mike Cunningham. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star isn’t mincing words about it, either. She’s making it crystal clear why she’s walking away, and it isn’t about gossip.

Brit Eady went to social media to share the news with her followers. She’s done pretending everything is fine. On the last day of the year, she wrote that she’s choosing peace, happiness, and herself for 2026. It’s a bold move, and she owns it completely.

“I’m posting this on the last day of 365 to remove this facade of faking like this marriage is going to work,” she wrote. “Everybody can’t come into the next chapter.”

She keeps it all the way real about her feelings toward Mike. Brit admits she “can’t stand” him now. But she’s shutting down any false narratives before they start. She’s not divorcing him because of rumors about his sexuality, and she wants everyone to know that.

“And for the record as much as I can’t stand him, we are not going to create a false narrative that I’m walking away because of any fake made up rumors,” she added.

This decision is about self-preservation. It’s about emotional well-being after years of trying to make it work. She’s choosing happiness over keeping up appearances, refusing to carry a relationship that no longer serves her.

“I’m done hurting and I want to be happy in my next chapter,” Brit continued, toasting to “2026 of putting my happiness first.”

The legal details aren’t clear yet. But Brit’s message leaves no room for doubt. This chapter is closed, and she’s moving forward without looking back.
