A former male congregant has filed a civil lawsuit accusing Grammy-winning gospel singer and pastor Donnie McClurkin of sexual abuse spanning nearly a decade. The suit claims the plaintiff sought spiritual guidance from McClurkin while struggling with his sexuality, was hired as a personal assistant, and was repeatedly assaulted during church and business travel between 2007 and 2015. McClurkin has denied the claims as categorically false.
