    Chef and influencer Desmond Scott is finally speaking out. This comes after his estranged wife, fellow influencer Kristy Sarah Scott, filed for divorce after 11 years of marriage.

    TMZ broke the news on Friday, January 9th. They reported that social media’s beloved duo, The Scotts, were calling it quits. Kristy filed her divorce papers in Harris County, Texas, citing alleged infidelity as the reason. Court documents claim there’s no reasonable chance for reconciliation and that the couple will soon live separately.

    Fans are stunned by the split, especially since Desmond Scott and Kristy Sarah have openly shared their fun, chaotic family life with millions. They gave us prank videos, fashion, lifestyle content, and food vlogs. The couple met young, at 15 and 14, and married in 2014. They built a dream home and welcomed two sons. Their journey seemed picture-perfect until now.

    Beyond their personal brand, the couple also owned “Meant To Be Films.” This production company specialized in wedding videography and storytelling. What happens to their business now, amid these divorce proceedings, remains up in the air.

    Desmond finally broke his silence on Saturday, January 10th. He addressed Kristy’s divorce filing. In his statement, he appeared to admit to the alleged infidelity, offering an apology to his family. Here’s what he had to say:

    “I want to begin by apologizing to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been impacted by the public attention surrounding this situation. I know this news has been disappointing for many, and I’m truly sorry for the hurt it has caused.

    Kristy is the mother of my children, and that will always come first. I remain fully committed to being an active, present, and loving parent to our boys, as I have always been.
    Kristy and I faced challenges and made sincere efforts to work through them. Toward the end of 2025,

    I wanted to separate, and | had conversations with Kristy regarding this. During this period, I made choices that I am not proud of. I took responsibility for those actions, I shared this with her directly and personally, and ultimately we decided to divorce.

    l ask for privacy and compassion as we navigate this difficult chapter of our lives. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. I’m grateful for that support and will continue sharing my love for cooking and the things that inspire me. I hope you’ll continue that journey with me.”
