Hold up, y’all! Did Diddy‘s sobriety vow just hit a major detour behind bars? Word on the street is that the Bad Boy CEO got caught sippin’ on some homemade hooch inside the Fort Dix federal prison in Jersey, where he’s doing his time. Talk about a plot twist! π¬
Sources over at TMZ are saying Diddy and some fellow inmates were concocting a little “prison wine” β a DIY blend of Fanta, sugar, and apples, fermented for two weeks to create a bootleg buzz. Can you imagine? They say Diddy got caught red-handed with the contraband and almost got shipped to a new unit, but prison officials had a change of heart and decided to let him stay put. Lucky him!
This news comes as a major surprise, especially after Diddy made a whole show about his sobriety journey in court before he got sentenced last month. He even told the judge he’d been sober for the first time in 25 years! Talk about growth. He wrote a heartfelt letter, saying, βThe old me died in jail and a new version of me was reborn. Prison will change you or kill you β I choose to live.β
Just last week, pics surfaced of Diddy cheesin’ and chillin’ in the prison yard, lookin’ like he was adjusting to the prison lifestyle and socializing with his fellow inmates. But now, the discovery of his “jailhouse jungle juice” has fans questioning if his transformation is for real. Is Diddy really embracing the change, or is he just putting on a show?
For now, Diddy’s still serving his 50-month sentence for violating the Mann Act, after being convicted on two counts back in July. Weβre keeping an eye on this one, fam.
The Bureau of Prisons hasnβt commented on the incident.
