Diddy‘s release date has shifted again. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website, the music producer and rapper will walk free on January 24, 2028 – a month earlier than his previously expected February 23, 2028 date.
The timeline keeps contracting. His release date has bounced from June 2028 to April 2028, then February 2028, and now January 2028. The reason for the repeated adjustments remains unclear. Diddy was sentenced to 50 months in prison following his October 2025 conviction on two prostitution charges.
Prison life has been complicated. Diddy was recently placed in solitary confinement at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey after getting into a physical altercation with another inmate. He reportedly held his own during the scuffle, though details about the duration of his solitary stay haven’t been disclosed.
