Tyga has defended his choices on the project by framing A.I. as simply another tool in the studio, comparing it to how Auto-Tune revolutionized music production decades ago. That defense hasn’t won over everyone. Pitchfork famously gave “$TARFACE” a 0/10 rating, calling it brutally honest: “Its very existence has made the world a worse place.”
