Doja Cat is calling out Tyga for using A.I. on his new album, “$TARFACE,” and she’s not holding back. During a live stream Wednesday, the rapper went off unprompted, lobbing a crude insult at her former collaborator for leaning on artificial intelligence to help produce the project.
“Tyga is a penis for making an A.I. album,” she said bluntly. Nobody had asked her opinion on the matter, but Doja Cat decided to weigh in anyway.

Tyga has already defended the decision to use A.I. as a production tool, comparing it to Auto-Tune. The justification hasn’t silenced critics. Pitchfork recently handed “$TARFACE” a brutal 0/10 rating, writing that “its very existence has made the world a worse place.”
Doja’s criticism cuts deeper given their shared history. The two collaborated on the “Juicy” remix in 2019 and “Freaky Deaky” in 2022, making this a diss from someone who knows his work firsthand. The fact that she felt compelled to comment suggests the album’s reception has become hard to ignore, even for those who’ve worked with him before.

Clear as day: Doja doesn’t think artificial is the answer in music.
