A warrant is out for Kim Scott‘s arrest after she failed to show in court for her DUI case, according to records obtained by BlkCosmo.
The judge issued a $10,000 bench warrant for Kim Scott on Wednesday after she didn’t appear for her scheduled hearing. Eminem’s ex was already out on pre-trial release, but prosecutors immediately moved to forfeit her bond.
Kim was supposed to be in court for a hearing related to her May 13 DUI arrest in Michigan. Her absence triggered the warrant request.
According to the arrest report, police say she registered a blood alcohol level of nearly 0.28 percent, approaching three times the legal driving limit. That kind of reading signals serious impairment and made for straightforward charges at the time of her arrest.
The bigger problem for Scott: this marks her third DUI offense, which automatically elevates the charges to felony level in Michigan. The distinction matters significantly when it comes to sentencing guidelines and her legal exposure.
Now with a bench warrant in effect, law enforcement can pursue her arrest at any point. The missed court appearance complicates what was already a serious legal situation.
