LeBron James is an NBA icon, no question. And it turns out his real estate game is just as strong.
King James has owned some seriously impressive spots. Remember his Miami days? He copped a $9 million mansion in Coconut Grove and flipped it for $13.4 million. Plus, he had three amazing homes in the Los Angeles area.
Of course, he’s got a spot in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. Paid over $2.1 million for that one and built a custom mansion. Now, he’s taking his $36.75 million Beverly Hills estate to the next level – planning two mega-mansions!
Here’s the lowdown.
The Beverly Hills property was stunning even before James had it demolished
James had a whole collection of properties in LA County, including two in Brentwood and the Beverly Hills pad.
Back in 2015, he picked up a six-bedroom mansion in Brentwood for $21 million. Clearly, he liked the area because, a couple of years later, he dropped another $23 million on another Brentwood estate. Think marble floors and walls of glass – pure California vibes.
His Beverly Hills compound is equally impressive. It’s been home to James, his wife Savannah, and their kids. Over 13,000 square feet on more than two acres. Poolhouses, a tennis court, and a movie theater – the works. Fun fact: it used to belong to the creator of *The Young and the Restless* and *The Bold and the Beautiful*.
After grabbing the Beverly Hills house, James put his Brentwood properties on the market. One sold for $20.5 million, the other for $19.6 million. Not bad!
James will spare no expense on his new mega mansions

p id=”par-9_16″>James went ahead and had the Beverly Hills estate demolished to make room for two massive mansions.
Word is, according to Realtor.com, the Lakers legend got the green light to split the 2.72-acre property into two separate plots, each getting its own mansion. The larger one will be around 16,000 square feet with a huge basement and a two-level garage. Pool, spa, outdoor kitchen – the whole shebang.
The second mansion will be 6,550 square feet. A two-car garage, movie theater, and even hot and cold plunge pools are in the plans.
Walker Workshop, an architectural design firm, is handling both projects.
Their philosophy? They believe thoughtfully designed spaces can boost your mind and body. They’re aiming to create livable art, with the same care they’d put into a museum or sacred space. Dope!
