LeBron Still Loves Drake Despite Rap Beef Fallout

Word on the street is that the bromance between Drake and LeBron James might be facing a little turbulence.

The Lakers legend recently addressed the buzz about his relationship with Drizzy, especially after whispers that the 6 God wasn’t too happy about Bron’s public support for Kendrick Lamar during last year’s epic rap showdown.

Remember LeBron hitting up Kendrick’s Juneteenth “Pop Out” concert? Some folks saw that as King James repping K-Dot in the midst of the feud, which, allegedly, didn’t sit right with Drake. Since then, eagle-eyed fans have pointed out potential shade – like Drizzy unfollowing Bron on socials, tweaking the lyrics in “Nonstop” from “like I’m LeBron” to “but NOT LeBron,” and even covering up his James tattoo with one of Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Despite the social media sleuthing, Bron insists it’s all love from his end. In a recent “360 With Speedy” interview, the King kept it classy:

β€œI’ll always wish him the best. Obviously, different places right now. Currently, he’s doing his thing, I’m doing my thing, but it’s always love, for sure.”

Whether Drake echoes those sentiments? That’s another track. Right now, a friendship that once felt rock-solid seems to be navigating the same choppy waters that divided hip-hop itself.
