Okay, so things got a little wild in Japan! Last Saturday, September 27th, Ne-Yo was doing his thing at Glion Arena in Kobe, Japan, when some overzealous fan decided to crash the stage during “Because of You.” You know, that banger from ’07?
The videos that hit the net (and that Ne-Yo himself reposted – shoutout to his Insta stories!) show this person hopping up from the pit, straight into the performance. Ne-Yo, ever the professional, and his dancers tried to keep the energy flowing, but when the fan got too close, our guy had to step in. He wasn’t having it!
Ne-Yo grabbed the dude, security moved in, and the situation was handled. Real talk though, we get it.
And Ne-Yo made it clear in his caption, no messing around on his stage:
“This is what you DON’T do. I’m a gentleman but I WILL slap the ** out of a person disrespecting my stage.”
“And then keep the party going. Don’t try me it’s all love until it’s not.” Real.
